Meet the Author: Family Paint & Sip

Celebrate Black Children's Book Week with author Diane Davis!  A motivational speaker, mindset coach, and youth mentor with an avid interest in storytelling, Diane Davis developed an affinity for writing from a young age and infuses her writing for children with a care for their social and emotional growth.

After a reading of her book, each family will paint an illustration from The Motivation Queen, using stencils created by Legler's Artist-in-Residence, Alexandra Antoine. Light refreshments will be provided. This collaboration between Legler Regional Library, the Artist-in-Residence and Girls Lik3 Us is meant to reflect the Black Excellence we see in our communities.

Best for families with children, ages 6 to 13.
