Kuumba and Agricultural Saturdays: Beginning on Juneteenth, and continuing every third Saturday through October, 10am–2pm, The P.L.A.N. (Intergenerational Artists Promoting Peace Love Art Nature) will host Kuumba and Agricultural Saturdays, including art-trepreneurial vendors, art talks, a Healthy Food Hub, and more on the Garfield Park Gold Dome Veranda. At 1pm on Juneteenth, join the West Side Cultural Arts Council at the Garfield Park Gold Dome, 100 N. Central Park, for a live performance of “Born a Slave, the True Story of Nancy Green the Original Aunt Jemima” by bass legend Chuckaluck and the Bronzeville Historical Society Musical Family of Artists.
