Aaron Mitchell is a recent graduate of DePaul University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, concentrating in Urban Development and Transportation. Before joining Garfield Park Community Council as an AmeriCorps VISTA member, he previously served as Vice President & Social Media Manager for the DePaul Model United Nations, and as an event organizer for the Political Science Department at DePaul University. He also interned for the SelectUSA Investment Services Team at the Department of Commerce in Washington DC. Aaron is passionate about affordable housing and equitable city development and views the work of GPCC as a great way to promote these ideals. He is eager to work with the community to build and deliver equitable housing solutions to support the Garfield Park community.
